Bill Steele, our illustrious developer evangelist, has been playing with the MakerBot 3D Printer.  For those that haven't been following developments in fabrication, a 3D printer is a device that extrudes a 3 dimensional object much like a printer prints a page.  As I understand it, you feed it a print file from a 3D model you have created using 3D design software, such as Google's SketchUp.
