Data Architect - Indianapolis, IN
Will provide support in a startup software development house focusing on designing data architectures, schemas and structures including modern web/semantic approaches. Should be a proponent for innovation, best practices, and sound design. A change agent with strong development habits and efficient team/project structures background. 
 
Hands-on technical position requiring proven experience in the following:
 
* Solid understanding of SOA, application frameworks and system integration methods and Agile methodology
* Microsoft .NET development
* SQL Server 2005/2008
* Technical implementation of unusual data challenges in a SQL Server setting
* XML / XMP / tools such as XML Spy
* Business Semantics modeling (OWL/RDFS)
* Tools such as SchemaLogic, Revelytix, Top Braid Composer, Metagrove
* Data Modeling tools such as Erwin, ER-Studio, Rational
* Logical/Physical data analysis and data model development
* Data Quality Management practices using commercially available tools
* Know Data Integration covering data sources inside/outside the firewall, including shredding XML using SSIS
* Familiarity with emerging technologies and software development best practices
* 5+ yrs of relevant Data Architect bkgd
* BS in Computer Science or related field - Health & Life Sciences expr a plus
* Must be U.S. citizen or Green Card holder
* No third party agencies - Principals only
