Software Developer

Summary

 
This position is responsible for Software testing, database design, project management, documentation and user training.  This position will analyze, develop, deliver and support high quality business software.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

•      Develops Windows applications (Windows Forms and WPF)

•     Develops ASP.net applications, Mobile (Compact Framework and web-based) applications,

•     Develops remote application communication (Web services, .NET Remoting, WCF) using C# and/or VB.net.

Education and/or Experience                                                
 
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university; or four or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
 
 
Language Skills                                             
 
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
 
 
Mathematical Skills                                                   
 
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
 
Reasoning Ability                                                      
 
Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
 
Computer Skills                                             
 
A thorough working knowledge of:
 
·         MS Office
·         Microsoft Visual Studio
·         .NET Framework and related technologies  
·         Microsoft SQL server.
 
 
Other Qualifications
 
Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time.
